The Inspiration

My passion for cooking began as a small child growing up in the state of Virginia. I remember sitting in a high bar stool watching my mother and grandmother laughing and sharing moments of the past. From that moment on I knew for a fact that food brings people together. Memories of that moment shall be treasured forever. I studied their techniques and ingredients until I remembered them all. I borrowed their recipes and made them my own.

Creativity began for me after that. As the years passed I enhanced and made their recipes healthier. So for that I give 100% credit to the most two important women in my life (my mother and grandmother). Both of you will forever be in my heart and your presence will be with me forever. One day we will share another kitchen in a brighter light. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS! Thank you.

 

The Beginning

My first job began in the food industry. I learned the front of the house as well as the back of the house. I knew that I always wanted to be a professional chef so I felt the need to learn them both. I became more knowledgeable about the food industry and started to take on various catering jobs.

My passion grew even more. So after 11 years in the food industry I decided to further my knowledge and education. I enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am now a graduate and living a childhood dream.
